Monthly Provisions distribution July 2026

1. As part of its regular monthly outreach programme, Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal conducted its monthly welfare initiative on 11 July 2026 at 10.00 a.m., extending support to 140 families of intellectually challenged children associated with the Mission.

Essential provisions and diapers were distributed to each beneficiary family to help meet their basic household needs.

An awareness programme titled "Herbal Wellness for Special Children: An Awareness Programme for Parents and Caregivers" was also organised as part of the event. The session was conducted by Mr. Thirujnanasambantham, Managing Trustee, EHEAR Trust & Rohini Global Marketing.Pvt. Ltd. who shared valuable insights on the safe use of herbal remedies and holistic wellness practices for special children. The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which parents and caregivers actively participated and clarified their queries.

Items Distributed:

Rice – 5 kg × 140 families (700 kg)

Toor Dal – 1 kg × 140 families (140 kg)

Masoor Dal – 0.5 kg × 140 families (70 kg)

Gingelly Oil – 0.5 litre × 140 families (70 litres)

Salt – 1 packet × 140 families (140 kg)

Bathing Soap – 1 per family (140 Nos.)

Washing Soap – 1 per family (140 Nos.)

Spice Packets (Sambar Powder, Rasam Powder, Coriander Powder and Chilli Powder, 100 g each) – 140 sets (56 kg)

Green Gram (Moong Dal) – 250 g × 140 families (35 kg)

Diapers – 47 packets (30 child-size packets and 17 adult-size packets), each packet containing 20 diapers.

Following the distribution programme, noon prasad was served to 210 beneficiaries and participants.
