Independence Day Celebration and Distress Relief at Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal on 15-08-2025
The Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, commemorated the 79th Independence Day with heartfelt devotion and patriotic fervour on the morning of 15th August 2025 at 10.00 a.m. The celebration was blessed with the presence of 110 intellectually challenged children and their parents, whose participation brought warmth and joy to the occasion.
The event commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, a solemn tribute to the ideals of freedom and unity. Following this, a brief yet meaningful address was delivered to the assembled parents, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the enduring values it represents.
As part of our regular monthly outreach, essential provisions were distributed to all 108 families associated with the Mission.

2. Toor Dhal: 1 kg X 108 Nos. (108 kg)
3. Musoor Dhal: 0.5 kg X 108 Nos. (54 kg)
4. Gigely Oil: 0.5 liters X 108 Nos. (54 lts)
5. Salt: 1 packet X 108 Nos.
6. Bathing & Washing Soap (1 Number in each) x108 Nos.
7. 100 gms of spice packets (sambar powder, Rasam powder, Dhania powder, Chilli powder) X 108Nos. (43.2 kg)
The celebration concluded with the distribution of noon prasad to around 187 participants.
