ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH OF JANUARY - 2026
1. The Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, celebrated the 164th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with devotion and service. The day’s program was conducted as follows:
6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Puja Performed to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda
9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Arati and Pongal Celebration with intellectually challenged children and their parents, fostering joy and inclusiveness.
10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. A talk on Swami Vivekananda’s message
11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Distribution of Following provisions to 130 intellectually challenged families.
1. Rice: 5 kg X 130 Nos(650 kg)
2. Toor Dhal: 1 kg X 130Nos. (130 kg)
3. Musoor Dhal: 0.5 kg X 130Nos. (65 kg)
4. Gigely Oil: 0.5 liters X 130Nos. (65 lts)
5. Salt: 1 packet X 130Nos.
6. Bathing & Washing Soap (1 Number in each) x130Nos.
7.100 gms of spice packets (sambar powder, Rasam powder, Dhania powder, Chilli powder) X 101Nos. (52 kg)
8. School bags distributed to 54 children
9. 3 mosquito nets provided to needy families
12:00 p.m. onwards Prasad distribution to all devotees, well-wishers, and participants (around 250 nos ).
