International Yoga Day Celebration - June 21 2026
International Yoga Day was observed at Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, on 21 June 2026. Around 50 children from the neighbouring villages participated in the programme.
The programme commenced with prayers, followed by a yoga session conducted by Yoga Master Mr. Shivaraj and his team from Kanchipuram. The children actively participated in various yogic exercises and learned about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

After the yoga session, the participants were taken on a visit to the historic Vishnu Temple located nearby. Following the temple visit, each child received a booklet on the life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, along with a yoga booklet.
The programme concluded with the distribution of noon prasada. Around 70 devotees and participants partook of the prasad.
