On November 3, 2024, an eye camp was organized by Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal and Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal, Chennai, in the village of Arumbuliyur. This event also benefited neighboring villages such as Pazhaveri, Veechur, Kavur, Seethavaram, and Orakattupettai.
